How often does the book club meet?
We meet every 4 weeks for a relaxed Sunday session at Oh Shoot! Plants.
Do I need to buy the book from you to join?
Yes. Membership includes the monthly book. You choose the paperback or hardback tier, and that book is part of your ticket for the session.
How much is the bookclub?
£15 for a paperback copy of the book, entry to the venue & themed extras
£25 for the hardback*
*Hardback tier on some months may be limited availability or none entirely dependent on the book voted for the month.
What is included in each tier?
Each tier includes the monthly book plus a small selection of themed extras; includes a 10-15 percent discount depending on which tier you choose, to use on curated titles we bring to each session
Can I bring my own copy?
Not at the moment. We found that most readers prefer receiving the book as part of the club, and it keeps everyone on the same page. It also supports our small business and helps us run the sessions properly.
Can I join if I read on Kindle or audiobook?
Right now the club is focused on physical books. Our survey showed readers prefer paperback and hardback, so those are the tiers we offer.

What if I don’t finish the book in time?
You are still welcome. The club is about enjoying stories together, not homework. Come along and join the chat.
Can I skip a month?
Yes. You only join the sessions you want. Each meeting is booked separately.
Can I bring drinks?
Yes. You are welcome to bring your own wine. We provide snacks to keep things comfortable.
Where does the club take place?
All sessions are hosted inside Oh Shoot! Plants, surrounded by greenery and a calm atmosphere.
Is there an inclusive chat?
Yes, we use the app 'Fable' that has an inclusive chat section and is a dedicated book reader app.
